Interactive Multi Game Demo Disc v2 (aka Interactive Multi Game Demo Disc: May 2002 in Europe) is a playable demo disc for the Nintendo GameCube. Playable games include Super Smash Bros. Melee, Pikmin and NBA Courtside 2002. Video previews include Super Smash Bros. Melee, Pikmin, Star Fox Adventures: Dinosaur Planet (later renamed Star Fox Adventures), NBA Courtside 2002, and Star Wars Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader. The European demo disc has the same contents as its US counterpart, the only difference being the game and video order.
Emulation Information
Improper GameCube Font
Due to copyright concerns, Dolphin is unable to include official GameCube fonts, and instead uses Droid Sans. Unfortunately, Droid Sans does not align well with the size/kerning of the official GameCube font, which can cause text to be misplaced, dialogs to display improperly, and other issues due to differing text sizes.
This can be corrected by including a region appropriate GameCube IPL (i.e. BIOS ROM) under <Dolphin User Folder>/GC/. A GameCube "IPL.bin" can be acquired from a real GameCube using Swiss. Refer issue 8362. GameCube BIOS files need to be named "IPL.bin" in order for Dolphin to detect them, and should be 2,097,152 bytes in size. IPL files are different for PAL consoles and NTSC consoles, but American NTSC consoles use the same IPL files as Japanese NTSC consoles. The known good CRC32 checksums below can be used to validate files, but it is possible that a bad dump with a different checksum also works.

Problems
Rogue Leader Movie
The movie for Rogue Leader will result in continuous "Invalid read" errors and requires MMU and XFB enabled to boot and play properly. Post Hybrid XFB in 5.0-5874 only MMU must be set.
Star Fox Movie Freeze
The movie for Star Fox will freeze after a while of playing, though pressing any button will return back to the main menu.
Pikmin Demo
The demo for Pikmin freezes after the ESRB logo unless LLE audio is enabled.
Interlaced Output
Interactive Multi Game Demo Disc v2 forces interlaced rendering causing its output to jitter vertically. Dolphin doesn't currently support interlaced output and attempts to convert all output to be rendered progressively. When progressive rendering can't be forced, delinterlacing doesn't occur appropriately, causing output to shift up a row for one frame and back down on the next. Refer to issue 10473. This only effects the NBA Courtside 2002 demo.
GameCube Logo
The scrolling GameCube logo in the demo disc intro is invisible if XFB is set to Virtual. It requires XFB to be disabled or set to Real to show up properly. Fixed with Hybrid XFB in 5.0-5874.
